I recently landed in Abu Dhabi and was needing a massage. After five countries, ten flights and non-stop work over two weeks my back was a wreck and my hip-flexors were beyond help (or so I thought). A local colleague recommended West Bay Spa for a good deep-tissue massage - she said I could not go wrong. I made an appointment. Arrival was easy and I was brought back to a massage room just minutes after arrival. The massage therapist, Sia, arrived a few minutes later - allowing me time to change and get situated on the table. I chose the 90 minute massage and within the first five, I could tell I was in good hands (pun intended). Sia worked primarily on my legs, working from my feet up to my hips - releasing all the tension in my hip-flexors. From there she worked on my back and shoulders - I could literally feel my muscles and tendons resisiting like steel cables. I dont think it was easy but, Sia was able to get my muscles relaxed and she also really stretched my shoulders - albeit slightly painful - the relief in my shoulders and back was almost instantaneous. After 90 minutes of constant work, I was allowed to shower and change in privacy and offered water, tea, and coffee before leaving. I walked out with a straighter back and looser hips - feeling much better than when I walked in less than two hours earlier. It was a great massage and the entire staff, from front desk to massage therapist, were professional and courteous. Ill definitely go back after my next twelve hour flight to Abu Dhabi.

I did today the Swedish Massage and let me put it this way, IT WAS SPECTACULAR. I did the massage with the male therapist ( I forgot his name sorry 😞) but the whole session was relaxing and peaceful. I always try new spa’s wherever I go ( always need relaxation) and i rarely post a review on the spa’s but with this spa i actually decided to share my thoughts during the massage session. For sure coming back to this spa again for another session, and I recommend everyone to try it and judge themselves. 💜💜
