    I had an amazing stay at JA Ocean View Hotel in JBR, and I want to give a special shoutout to Francis, who truly made our experience unforgettable. He was always friendly, attentive, and had a great attitude. Whether we had questions, special requests, or just needed some help – Francis was always there with a smile and made sure we felt taken care of.The hotel itself is in a fantastic location right on the JBR Walk, with stunning ocean views from nearly every room. Everything was clean, modern, and well-maintained. The pool area was great, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options. The whole staff was very welcoming and professional.Huge thanks to the entire team – and especially to Francis for his outstanding service. We’ll definitely be coming back!

    I had an incredible stay here. Great value for the location and quality. The room cleaners including Raj and others kept my room spotless and nice to come back to.     Just like the say Umer who was at reception when we got there was truly wonderful at accommodating our needs. He managed to get us checked in by 9.30am at no extra charge. He was so polite.And at the me of the stay mohsin helped us greatly in getting our luggage sorted and then arranging safely the return of our hired vehicle. These well mannered individuals is what makes a place not just exist but thrive.

    From the minute we arrived at the JA Ocean View hotel nothing was too much trouble! The staff on all shifts was helpful, professional, they all went that extra mile.Vikram the concierge always greeted guests with a smile and couldn’t do enough to help.Diana Greek restaurant, she too was so helpful and has the most beautiful personality.SIMARJIT, house keeping, kept our room spotless, he worked tirelessly and always had a smile a “good morning” when he seen us.ALWYN the JEWELLER located in the hotel lobby, is a life saver, I couldn’t remove a ring from my finger, he persevered and eventually managed to remove it, he’s a super star.The hotel is spotless clean, the rooms are big with huge beds. The balcony overlooking the sea was a real bonus.We went half board, we had a choice of 3 restaurants to choose from. Food is excellent and plentiful, the hotel caters for all nationalities. The food is very fresh and cooked to perfection.I honestly cannot fault this hotel, by far the best we have stayed in and we have traveled a lot over the years but nothing compares to the JA Ocean View.The hotels location is perfect, for the beach, shops and local transportation, all within minutes from the hotel.We will be back to stay again in 2026, we can’t wait. Thank you all for making our holiday so happy and stressful free.

    We recently stayed at this hotel, and it was a great experience overall.- spacious and clean rooms- ocean view- small gym- breakfast with a lot of varieties- excellent location- option to check outNousha is nice and helped us with our luggage. Housekeeper is such an obliging and responsive man.The staff at the parking were very helpful as well. In general, all the staff ensure that you feel comfortable and have all you need.We ask at the reception for late check-out.I don’t know if I can define this hotel as a luxury stile, but we really enjoyed our staying. Thanks to all the Staff.

    The hotel is modern, clean, and well-maintained, though the rooms could benefit from a few minor upgrades. Service was excellent, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options. The pool area is on the smaller side, but it’s well-kept, clean, and consistent with what you’d expect in this location. Fresh towels were always readily available.The hotel is in a fantastic location, with rooms offering stunning views of JBR Beach. Everything was spotless throughout our stay.     Maximum hospitality! The employees here are very kind and flexible. All our requests were taken into account and fulfilled - be it immediate room reservation in case of early arrival, extra requests for the children were prepared for dinner, we could stay in the room until 3 pm without checking out....Meals: half board - delicious food, wide selection. I have to mention here that I could even eat dessert every day, which is very rare for me to find something suitable for me in a hotelLocation: 2 minutes from the beach, taxis are always available in the hotel area.Cleanliness: they pay close attention to everything, the whole hotel is clean and tidy.Children didnt even want to go home, they liked everything here so much. We will definitely return here every time we come to Dubai.Whether with or without children, I highly recommend the hotel to everyone!

    What an amazing hotel!!!Flew in from Brisbane (14 1/2 hours). Flight landed 05:00 - booked into hotel 06:15 - Room was prepared so we managed to get a couple of hours sleep and still had the whole day ahead of us. Big thanks to the hotel team for making this request possible.Room had an amazing balcony view over the Marina Bay, from the Dubai Eye right round to the Palm Jumeirah and the Atlantis Hotel. The room was of a large size and immaculately presented.The pool area, lounges and dining facilities were first class. Beach bag, towels and umbrella are available to collect to use on the beach.The Buffet breakfast was the best I’ve ever known and the staff extremely helpful and attentive.The front of house team were exceptional - always asking if we needed anything / how is the stay going etc. Mina Hanna has a great team and should be proud of each one!!The hotel is situated across the road from the beach and the wonderful ‘promenade’ with all its attractions. Superbly placed!We have transited through Dubai over a dozen times and never stayed, due to wanting to arrive at our destination as son as possible. Mistake!!! A three night lay over has been the best decision we have made, second only to choosing the JA Ocean View Hotel to stay at. Utterly taken by this hotel and the staff, and will most certainly be using this as a stopover in the future.     We had a short 2 night stop over at JA Ocean View on our way home from Australia and had a wonderful experience. Check in was fast and professional and the girl on the desk was so pleasant and helpful that it was a great way to start our short visit. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of food and the on site restaurants offered great food in a relaxed environment in the evening. All the staff we encountered were lovely but a special thanks to the room service team Dipesh and Aradhana who were so attentive. Also Aya who organised a city tour for us at short notice, and of course the lovely young lady at check-in, whos name we cant recall, but maybe Simna.We really couldnt fault the hotel apart from the pool which gets very busy so difficult to get a deck chair, but the beach is literally across the road and the hotel supplied towels and a beach umbrella, which for us was an even better experience than the pool.

    We recently stayed at JA Ocean View for 5 nights and the entire experience was great. The rooms are clean, light, and spacious, and the views from the balcony are amazing. The staff is very friendly and their professionalism is commendable - Raben with housekeeping made sure our room was organized and spotless, just what you need after a long day and Abdullah at the concierge desk took care of all our bags! The hotel also has a lot of amenities such as a salon, gym, swimming pool, lounge, etc., and the in-house restaurants are amazing as well. The location of the hotel is amazing and gives you easy access to the beach, numerous restaurants, shopping places, and is a short drive away from most attractions.

    All in all very good. Spacious room. Location close enough to walk to tram and metro and great views to the sea. Tasty breakfast with a lot of options.Although busy area when the balcony door was closed the room was quiet.Only downside the AC the temperature of which could not be adjusted. Ended up shutting it down for night as it was too cold.

    Just arrived home from a week here, we had such a great stay! The staff are really helpful and friendly and go out their way for you! The view from the hotel is incredible, the food was outstanding- not a French fry in sight! The rooms were lovely and cleaned daily.The swimming pool was lovely, there was always a sunbed available, and the staff always eager to ensure you have all you need. The beach is a two minute walk and the hotel give you a beach bag with everything you need including an umbrella.Great location too! We would definitely stay here again. 5 stars

    My Wife and I stayed at the JA OCEAN VIEW HOTEL for 4 nights in December 2024.Our room 2301 was fantastic with a fantastic view of the beach and the wheel and a not too far away view of the ATLANTIS HOTEL .Our room was serviced by RIFAS, a very polite and pleasant person who went out of his way to accommodate our requests, an excellent person.The reception staff, restaurant staff and bar staff were all so very helpful.I would recommend your hotel to one and all.We have had the best and excellent experience.Thank you.

    This was our third stay at JA Ocean and it just keeps getting better each time!Located in the heart of JBR we always stay here for the first part of our holiday, prior to moving onto the palm for the remainder.The hotel itself, is immaculately clean and the staff are honestly the kindest people!Our room attendant Rabel cleaned our room every day during our stay and was such a lovely man. The rooms are light, airy and spacious and the beds are so comfy!This year saw the opening of the kids club which we couldn’t get my daughter out of each day! The lady, Malki who was working there was wonderful with her, teaching her how to make beautiful crafts.Finally a big thank you to porters who helped unpack and pack our transfers, nothing is ever too much to ask in this hotel and everything is done with a smile.We will return here every year that we continue to holiday in Dubai! It is the best value for money hotel on the walk with 10/10 service.

The view was amazing, the room was super clean, and the breakfast had lots of variety and was great for kids. The small play area was perfect for our little one, and the beach was so close.     JA Ocean View hotel is my number 1 go to in JBR!Having stayed in most of the hotels in this area over time - this has by far the best service, location, price & overall experience in terms of value for money.Took my family again for a 3 day short vacation this weekend and was extremely happy to stay at this hotel - particular emphasis on taking a booking with club access (afternoon tea/ happy hour) - this was enough quality provision that we only needed to eat dinner once in the full 3 days - 5 stars JA as usual!!Only negative although slight is the air fresheners in the lobby, toilets and corridors is a little to frequent & overpowering if you are sensitive to chemicals - possibly change the routine or the products in use

    Stayed at this hotel for the second time after 9 years, and it’s just as good as it was then, . Breakfast selection is wonderful, the views are marvellous and the staff are all friendly and very efficient. Special mention to security guard Afsal, who helped us in many ways, getting us cheap taxis and recommending us the best spots. The location is perfect for having easy access to all of the JBR beach, Dubai Marina and a short travel to the Palm Jumeriah. Would definitely come back to stay here again :)

    We just returned back after staying for over 3 nights at Ja Ocean View Hotel and recommend this hotel to everyone for sure.Some of the things which really stands out are as follows:1) Truly Exceptional Service- Once booked, they send email to get all your details and work backwards to try and arrange for room for early check-in if available. We arrived around 9AM and they had already made the room available. We had requested for bottle sterilizer earlier and I saw that was also already arranged and kept in the room before we reminding.Another instance, my babys stroller was making some screeching noise, one of the staff who was on 7th floor came to us with grease to eliminate the noise. (We never asked)2) Location is truly exceptional- Great Views, walk to Blue water beach or lie down at white sand beach. The Walk is meters away.3) Food- Amazing, great options for breakfast- decent vegetarian menu.Some things which one need to know before booking:1) Hotel is at the Prime spot and there is a huge rush of cars in the evening coming from everywhere to Marina Walk. Since its a great party place it comes with Traffic issues at night. For our 3 days stay- last 1 Km taxi took approx 30 mins. So best would be to drop by close and walk during night. We had baby so we couldnot and hence everyday evening got stuck in traffic near the hotel.2) Breakfast Menu- They can work on increasing the variation in the menu. Menu is vast but its same everyday hence after 2 days we felt something is missing. So would recommend to increase the variations in the options so people can have same enthusiasm for breakfast for all days.

    Stayed at JA Ocean View for the first time this last visit to Dubai. I was with my family and everything about the experience was wonderful. All the staff were amazing from the communication before my visit regarding abnormal check in/check out times to the small details. It was my sons birthday during the visit and they upgraded our room, some of the staff wished him a happy birthday when they saw him and they left a cake for him whilst we were out. These small details make all the difference. Breakfast was great with a good variety. Location is perfect if you want to be in the heart of the bustling area of JBR on the beach and the walk. We didnt spend anytime at the pool and so cannot comment about that as we were always busy with the other attractions the city has to offer. I would definitely stay at JA Ocean view again.

    Great hotel and excellent location. The Walk starts right in front of the hotel, there are many restaurants, shops and a supermarket nearby. We were here in December, and the sun doesnt shine at all on the balconies or the hotel pool, but if you like shade, this is fine. I like sunshine myself, so this was a bit of a bad choice for that. But even if the sun doesnt shine at the hotel, luckily the beach is a couple of minutes walk away, and the hotel gives you a free beach bag with towels and even an umbrella if you want. You have to pay separately for sunbeds on the beach. All the balconies of the hotel have a wonderful view of the sea and its nice to look at the scenery. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the service was really excellent. On a few days, even the supervisor of the cleaners came to the room to ask if it had been cleaned well enough. And yes it was. Of course, the hotel is not brand new and the rooms are not quite modern, but they were comfortable. The hotel has a small outdoor childrens play area, and an indoor care center for the little ones. However, not very many activities for children. The hotel also has practically no outdoor areas at all, only the pool area, where the sun didnt shine. There are a few restaurants, and the half-board main restaurant has a lot of choice for breakfast and dinner. The food was quite good, but not quite 5 star level in my opinion. The food in the hotels Greek restaurant was really delicious! Likewise, pizzas in an Italian restaurant. In the sports bar, you can watch sports and play billiards for a fee of 20 AUD per game.

    I stayed in this hotel 4 times in 4 different years, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2024. The service, room comfort, facilities remain top notch.The staff are fully committed to job, helpful, fast, smiely and professional.Check-in and out are quick, no time wasting nonsense procedures.The hotel has three food outlets, all offer high quality food. I tried the brrakfast and dinner. Top quality in every thing, service, taste, quality and variation.The pool is wonderful. The Greek style cafe near the pool is excellent, I was lucky to attend the Grand opening party, was great night with live music.There are several facilities within the premises I have not had a chance to discover during my 4 stays.The room is very clean, very comfortable in every sense, the bed, the couch, the balcony and toilet/bath.Last but not least, the location is 10 out 10.

    This was the perfect hotel for us. Super clean and welcoming. The staff couldnt have been more helpful. Great location and amazing services from concierge to reception.     Where do we begin? Right at the arrival we are greeted by the ever smiling and attentive Merry, as usual going beyond customer service! We know her for many years having been a regularpatron of this hotel. Shes still the same as ever. Amazing customer friendly personality. Great tosee her do well there. Despite all the chaos with the Eid crowd, the breakfast experience was made fantastic by Francis, who went over and beyond and so did Tannu! Hardworking guys, attentive and addressing all our requests with a big smile at alltimes. Not to forget Paul at the reception, his Manager Minna Hinna, and his thoughtfulness, welcomingus with nice amenities which was appreciated.     Firstly this hotel is in a great location for everything.The whole hotel is very well cared for and the staff can’t do enough for you. The views are superb. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who all seem to work very hard and really care about making your stay enjoyable. Rooms are huge with everything you need, the pool area is lovely along with the bar/restaurant with its Santorini theme.I would really like to thank the hotel for all the help when I was taken poorly, and taken to hospital, not the way to start your holiday! Thank you so much to the duty manager who kept in touch and was so helpful, and to all the other staff who regularly asked how I was when I returned from hospital.Luckily we still managed to do what we wanted to and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Dubai and in this lovely hotel.

    Our experience of staying in JA Ocean view hotel in 2024 was perfect. I mist admit - the location is great - you cal walk along the beach side as well as have a walk in Dubai Marina. Not far away from metro station as well.The breakfast has a great choice, the service was good - special thanks to our room made ZAIN Tin Tin.Our room was also to the see side and my evenings were always at the balcony having a fresh air and looking at beautiful sunset.The pool was nice, good choice of food and drinks, enough space and enough sun during the day. The sea beach was also just 5 min walk from the hotel.So the hotel is highly recommended.

    I like everything about this hotel. 1- the location was amazing only 3-4 minutes to beach (JBR). 2- my room was with sea view the view was fantastic you can enjoy seeing the sea and Dubai eye the landscapes and Dubai eye ( ferris wheel). At the 3rd floor you can enjoy swimming and drinking. The facilities were varied the restaurants , spa , gym lounge and etc.. don’t miss the breakfast at Aqua restaurant at the ground floor.

    We stayed at the J A Ocean view 18th December to 28th December. The quality of food is excellent.I would like to Single out Nishan who cleaned on the 7th floor and our room 717. Nothing was too much trouble for him and his kindness towards us was exemplary. Thankyou Nishan for everything you did for us and we wish you health and happiness.My only criticism of the hotel is that due to extensive tall buildings around the JA Ocean view, much of the pool area rarely and some never recieves direct sunshine. I realise this is something that cannot be fixed. Sun beds on the beach are around £25 pounds sterling per day per sun bed.The hotel does provide towels and umbrella for the beach about 5 to 10 minutes walk away.The area is very busy and traffic noise is fairly significant up to and after midnightThankyou for hospitality at JA Ocean view

    Our stay at the Oceanview was wonderful. What made it special was the staff and the welcome. Staff we would like to mention in particular are Tanu in the Coral lounge who looked after us so well. A brilliant hostess. Myint was also very good. The head chef Osama was particularly attentive as were all the chefs and the food was superb across all the restaurants.     Had a fantastic break over new year. A hard year of Heatlh meant I was very anxious to make this trip. But the hotel staff were so loverly with all my needs. So polite. Nothing was an issue. There is a free shuttle to Yas island in Abu Dhabi from the hotel. They also give essentials like towel and umbrella if you want to go to the beach which is noce.     Our first time to Dubai & we were not disappointed with this hotel. Its clean, friendly & in a great location. The beach is a 2 mins walk away which had some nice restaurants close by as well as the usual fast food places within walking distanceThe staff were super helpful, especially the people on Concierge such as Babatounde - Mahmoud.Breakfast was superb, plenty of choice from cereals, bakery, fruit, salads to more traditional dinner options, something for everyone.We used JA as a base for the first 3 days of ours & its proximity to the beach & tram stop made it easy to go from relaxing to vibrant things to do.We had a seaview room which looked out into the big wheel & Palm, in the distance we could see the Atlantis. There were 4 of us sharing so we had a big double, a decent camp bed with proper mattress & a pullout, the pullout you could feel the springs but after telling housekeeping they added another topper & all was good, we didnt use it in the end as double was so big daughter slept between us with no problems.Great hotel, will definitely use again

    What a fab hotel. A bit too far from Dubai city but you can catch taxi or hop on hop off bus to visit Dubai itself. About a 30 min drive via taxi. Lovely food, different every night, we never starved. And if you do not like the food, plenty of food outlets all in walking distance, and I cant walk far.     Great location! Must try all their restaurants, they have very attractive promotions during the week days and weekends as well. They have themed nights at the buffet which makes it different everyday.The rooms are super clean and comfortable, the bed is amazing, also the housekeeping team, they are so kind, friendly and accommodating.I love it that there is an ice machine on the 13th floor where you can just collect ice for free without having to bother anyone.As it is low season, they were able to accommodate a free upgrade and also late checkout and it has made such a difference.We also had many suitcases as we are relocating and they were kind enough to keep them in their store room.We have had such a positive experience staying at this hotel. Thank you to the team that works hard to give us a good experience, your efforts don’t go unnoticed.

    My wife and I have just returned from our first trip to Dubai, for our anniversary. The hotel was lovely and in a great location, right next to the beach and the marina. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful, particularly those serving in the bars and restaurants. The food served was really good, considering it was a buffet (in the main Aqua restaurant) we were pleasantly surprised at the quality and choice of food available. They had a nice sports bar with lots of screens showing different sports including English football and served a variety of beers and cider. The gym was decent, with plenty of space and lots of equipment. The pool and surrounding area werent massive but we could always get a sun lounger and the pool never seemed overly busy, which was nice. They played a variety of good music and the atmosphere was pretty relaxed. The view from the balcony was lovely and we were provided with fresh bottles of water daily. The only slight negative I can really highlight was where were located in quite a busy area, the traffic in and out was sometimes manic, so plan your journeys and the other thing was at night there were often people revving their supercar engines (showing off) which if you need silence to sleep would not be ideal for you. This isnt really the hotels fault it is just the way it is there. All in all, we had a great time in Dubai and the hotel was ideal for us.

    I would like to leave the most detailed and honest review of my stay at this hotel in July 2024.We were checked in as soon as we arrived, even though it was early in the morning. The room was nice, clean, with a view of the sea. The only thing I didnt like was the mold on the ceiling due to the humidity. All the equipment worked properly.The breakfasts were delicious, but the same every day, nevertheless, we never left hungry. Dinners were themed, especially I liked the Latin American and Arabic food. You can find food for every taste: soups, meat, vegetables, desserts, different types of bread, fruits. The staff is friendly, you can speak English with everyone without problems. To get to the sea, you just need to cross the road and walk a little, it takes a couple of minutes. Everywhere is clean, beautiful. I would like to note that in July it is not very pleasant to swim in the sea, since the water is very hot and cloudy, you can get sick, so it is better to swim in the cold pool of the hotel.And here we come to the not so pleasant moment: during my stay at the hotel, the pool was closed for repairs, although there was no information about it in advance. I found out about the repairs after checking in, which upset me. Such things should be warned at least a month in advance, so that people know where they are going. If you want to check out, you will still have to pay for all the days you planned to stay. Probably, the hotel was afraid of losing customers, so they did not inform about the pool repair in advance. I chose this hotel at the end of June, when I was planning my trip, there was no information about the pool repair on booking and other sites.During the repairs, the hotel organized a transfer to another hotel by another palm tree, the water in the sea there was colder (but still hot) and very clean, the beach was private with its own sun loungers. The pool was not very big, it was often overcrowded. But it is better than nothing.Thus, I was satisfied with the hotel, except for the case with the pool. Transfer to another hotel is good, but late information about repairs is bad.

    We had a great stay, I would like to point out how helpful the staff were at the concierge desk no matter how ridiculous our question seemed they were always so happy to help. We speak to 3 of the members there all equally helpful as each others. One in particular went above and beyond to help us sort out a big problem as our bus did not show up from another company on Saturday 13/07 at 8:20 We really appreciated his help thank you so much. And another special mention to how clean the rooms were it was honestly the cleanest hotel room I can say I’ve stayed in. Everyday when we returned from the pool our cleaning assistant Raj had our room spotless to enjoy our afternoon. He even chapped the door to make sure everything was up to standard he was great. Thanks Raj. Again we really enjoyed our stay at the Ocean view hotel. 5/5 to the staff.

    We had a 4 Night stop over, we chose this hotel and we were really pleased with attention to detail and cleanliness. I had a small hick up which was resolved by the duty manager Hamido which displayed the willingness to listen and care about their guests. I have to give a special thanks to Merry from the concierge desk which made our stay even better and left us with a smile on our faces. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I the area which is right next to the beach with lovely view from the balcony. Dont look any further book and enjoy the stay as we did.

The initial room given had a limited/restricted ocean view. This was disappointing as we paid for a clear ocean view, and one would think this is standard as the hotel is named JA OCEAN VIEW hotel.The prompt and kind reception staff moved out rooms after a day to a much better room however, there was a slight leak from the shower onto the bathroom floor. This was fixed within a day or so. A couple days in, and were finding the tiles are holding a little bit of water underneath, which comes to the surface as you bear weight on them in the bathroom. This is not too concerning or worth the hassle of changing room again, so weve just made do.The breakfast is great for a person with zero intolerances however, myself and my partner have a few intolerances to watch out for. Considering intolerances are becoming more popular, I was suprised to see a lack of alternatives for guten/dairy/lactose.In terms of noise; be prepared to hear an orchestral sympathy of V8s, V10s, V12s and whatever else is lurking the regularly cleaned streets of JBR walk. Revving of vehicles throughout JBR walk is not allowed however, dont be naive to think Eton studied Jack and his mates wont stamp on the accelerator several times in the hope a flurry of female companions run their way.As a whole, I rate this hotel 4/5 as it ticks most boxes for the average person.

    The Most Handsome Man and Olivia, the hotel managers were very warm and welcoming to me and the rest of my peer group. They make you feel like family. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel. Also Aqua, the ground floor restaurant has great food and the people that work there are also warm and welcoming. One of the new interns named Rainbow from Yangon, Myanmar, was exceptional. I would expect her to rise up the ranks, quickly. I wish her nothing but the best. She made breakfast in the morning special for me and my peers. Thanks to everyone who made my stay perfect.

Food is good breakfast is well laid out with a lot of variety.Room size is good with an extra bed easily possible to put with still place to move around in the room. Tthe best part is the location and view. Each room has a balcony to sit and have cup of tea with sea view.     We are at the notel now, last day of our holiday. The location of the hotel is very good. 2 minutes walking distance to JBR public beach. The hotel provides umbrellas and towels for the beach. Breakfast at Aqua has plenty of variety and is delicious. Motorino, famous for its pizzas, can be preferred for lunch. Dinner is again at Aqua and there is a different concept every night. Room cleaning is done every day. I would like to thank Ara Dhana and Thukaram, who cleaned the 16th floor, for their interest and friendliness. All the employees are friendly and very kind, helping with anything they can. We are very pleased and recommend it.

The hotel was conveniently situated near major attractions , making it easy to explore the city. Really pleased with our choice of hotel close to the beach/restaurants and local amenities great location! Word of advice grab a gov. Cab half price of the others! We hope to visit next year!

    This is truly one of the most fantastic experiences I had with a hotel. The check in went smoothly thanks to this amazing receptionist ,Rabo. He helped my friends and I out with so many things like transport and even upgrading our room to a bigger one and adding an extra sofa double bed. The balcony view was amazing and very clean rooms. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel again!

    We had a wonderful stay at the JA hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean .Cleaning service was excellent, special mention to zain and Tintin for making sure our room was always impeccable . was clean, spacious and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. I would come here again.

    We stayed here from the 28th to the 8th of July. Location was perfect. The beach is a stone throw away and at night the place is a hive of activity.The hotel was a pleasant surprise in all aspects. The rooms were quite spacious and came with a balcony facing the beach. Cleanliness was of a high standard. Raj cleaned our room and it was perfection all the time.We had our meals at the buffet Aqua restaurant and the food was of a good standard. The staff were friendly and super helpful. We only learnt later that Rainbow was only an intern but her level of confidence and commitment to hard work matched that of permanent employees. She maintained high levels of visibility when she was on duty and ensured the place was tidied promptly. She is an asset to the restaurant.We also also had lunch at the Italian Mottorino pizzeria restaurant and this was amazing too.We booked most of our activities at the travel desk but we noted they did not offer deals. For example, we paid for the 24 hour red bus tour and only realised later that our ticket could have come with a desert safari discount. We were lucky enough to get this from the red bus guy but if we had paid at the hotel we would have paid double the price.We spend done of our evenings on second floor at the sports bar. This was normally fully booked and super busy but a good place.It would be nice if the hotel could allow either casting to the TV or alllow access to Netflix. We had done evening where we didn’t want to go anywhere but we were stuck in terms of what we could watch on TV other than the news which was depressing.

Nada, with her cheerful demeanor, made sure all my queries were promptly addressed. Their excellent service truly enhanced my initial impression of the hotel.The concierge team, particularly Merry and Mohsen, were invaluable in making my stay memorable. Merry went above and beyond to help me plan my sightseeing tours, offering insightful recommendations that made my trip special. Mohsen was equally helpful, assisting with transportation arrangements and ensuring I had everything I needed to explore the city comfortably. Their local knowledge and willingness to assist were remarkable.The breakfast buffet at Aqua Restaurant was a highlight of my mornings.     I came for quick business but just couldn’t leave for the hospitality and feeling of being in home for weeks. Amazing people always making sure of my best. Special thanks to Lakshmi who seems to have special talents with kindness and services! They all here for joy! Only trick they have in this hotel is the amazing bed that doesn’t let you leave.

    Great location and views..with large rooms. Housekeeping staff were very helpful and attentive. Especially when fixing broken shower. However, poor service when checking in and out. Long waiting times for lifts. Breakfast buffet average.Motorino pizzeria is absolutely worth the hype! Delicious pizzas and excellent staff. Even the chef came round to check if our food was up to par.

    Lovely hotel with great location if you want to be in the middle of the thriving marina area. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms comfortable and clean. Buffet food excellentTwo negatives, firstly the windows in the room have minimal sound proofing so noisy on an evening as close to lots of bars and restaurants.(we were on the 13th floor) Secondly the swimming pool and sunbathing area only get sun from 2-4pm (this is in early March) so if you’re looking for sun you will need to go to the beach outside of these hours

    We vacationed at the JA Ocean View Hotel in July 2024. I would like to express my gratitude to the hotel staff for their care and support of the guests. Special thanks to the concierges Ahmad and Vikram for their quick assistance in returning my granddaughters purse lost in the taxi. Thanks to concierge Mary for her advices on better coping with the heat and for arranging buses to a partner country hotel.

    UPDATE 2024My husband and I just stayed at this hotel again for 10 days In December and the stay was FANTASTIC, AMAZING, FABULOUS, EXTRAORDINARY! My husband is in a wheelchair and, once again, they made a ramp so that he could enjoy the balcony in our room. There just arent enough words to express how grateful we are and how amazing the staff is. Mina, the front office manager, is EXCEPTIONAL and made sure we had everything we needed. Vikram was SO kind and SO helpful! Abdullah never failed to ensure we had transportation wherever we were going. They made us feel like family and we were incredibly sad to leave what we have come to know as our second home and second family. We will be back in the Spring to celebrate our anniversary and cant wait for another amazing stay at the JA Oceanview Hotel!Wish I could give this hotel 10 stars! SO many wonderful things that I cant list them all. Noel, the night manager, was AMAZING! He is such an asset to this hotel! The breakfast was worth the extra 5 lbs I gained. :-) The rooms and views were BEAUTIFUL! I have to add something special. My husband is in a wheelchair and we were not in an accessible room. His chair would get stuck when he tried to access the balcony. We got back to our room the next day and they installed a ramp on both sides of the balcony so my husband could wheel out there and enjoy the amazing weather and view! Talk about going above and beyond! The location is PERFECT! Two minute walk to the beach, lots of restaurants, and shops! The only negative is the pool doesnt get much sun but the beach is nearby. Would never stay anywhere other than the JA Oceanview Hotel. Oh AND the people in Dubai were some of the nicest we have ever met anywhere!
