    The new spa and gym was inaugurated at the end of 2023. It is really beautiful, clean and spacious. In addition to a very nice hammam, there is also a sauna and a nice little pool for relaxing after the gym or a spa treatment. The gym is modern and equipped with everything you could wish for. The staff is great and super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended to come here if you stay in the nearby Bab al Shams Hotel - and even if not!!

    I have a massage at least once a month so for me the elements of surprise are rare. How did I not come here before is the only question that crossed my mind after my visit. This was by far the best massage I had in Dubai and frankly every other country I visited. The spa itself is minimalistic and straight to the point so don’t expect many amenities and experiences . However the massage rooms are spacious and so well designed and the courtyard pool and lounge is so lovely and tranquil. I had a 90 min massage with Mimi and I cannot recommend her enough. She identified stress points in my body and face and released them .. the music, aroma and overall experience is really something else. There is so much knowledge and science in every thing they did.. plus they surprised me with a birthday cake after my massage. Really sweet .. Highly recommended…

    There are spas I have tried, and then, there is THE Bab Al Shams Spa & Hammam.My treatment this weekend was delightfully arranged by Maricel for a 60 Morrocan Hammam + 60 Anti-Fatigue Massage with Kawtar as my therapist.I must say, having come from South East Asia where we are spoiled for choices of good massages, the technique that Bab Al Shams has is absolutely unique! Kawtar has softest and most magical hands to remove all the crustiness in my shoulders that accumulated over stressful hours at work and on flights.We started with the Moroccan Hammam which was a real treat in a gorgeous green marble Hammam bath design -- a olive soap session, a quick steam to soften the skin, and the luffa scrub to remove all the dead skin, a hair wash + conditioner, a body mud mask and another special face mud mask. I have never felt so glossy and glowy in my new skin! And I appreciated that they used sustainable products throughout the treatment.I had an intermission with a ginger tea while cooling down my body.For the massage, we moved into the massage treatment room and started with a short essential oils inhalation exercise. This allowed me to relax and connect to the energies of therapist. She then ran through the pain points of my body before I relaxed completely to fall into deep resting stage. She completed the session focusing on my shoulders and has a very unique technique to rub away all the stress muscles in my shoulder.I cannot compliment enough how thoughtfully designed and well planned this space is - from the interior layout, the refreshing welcome drink, the pool, the quality of the amenities, the sustainable Bamford range of products, the ginger tea post treatment and the friendly / well trained staff!I will definitely make a special trip back to Bab Al Shams Spa & Hammam on my next trip back to Dubai.Thank you team!

    This place is an experience from start to finish. the service is absolutely excellent, and the activities are fantastic. Having lived in the UAE for over 26 years, I can confidently say this is my favorite restaurant and hotel for an extraordinary experience. I highly recommend it—don’t hesitate to try this unique place!Special thanks to Hany, Yasser, the chefs, and the entire staff.

    The resort is stunning and tasteful.We went to Al Hadeerah restaurant with a group of 40. Hani, the manager and Watany the assistant manager were great in accommodating requests and gave us an amazing section for our group.The food was delicious and the shows were authentic and captivating. Highly recommended experience and worth the one hour trip from downtown Dubai.If going in a large group, make sure the details of the reservation are clear in terms of what is included as well as how deposits are applied but it is worth the price tag and worth the trip. I would go back any day and it is a perfectly authentic, beautiful and delicious experience.

    I had a facial treatment using the Bamford products and my face stayed radiant for the rest of the week. The steps were very comprehensive and the therapist did a Charka ritual with the Palo Santo and gua sha, there were special drinks served before and after the treatment. I love to chill by the Spa pool with views to the desert. Overall it was a really therapeutic experience for both mind and body and also very picturesque.

    I came here few days ago with my sister and I can tell that this is the most beautiful spa I have seen in my life. The pool is beautiful, the massage done by Carol was amazing. I felt so relaxed right after. I could also enjoy the hammam, sauna and sensitive shower before my facial done by Madi. Thank you Madi for your professionalism, your advices and your kindness! My face got way smoother thanks to you.Thank you also Hashan at the reception for your warm welcome.

    My hubby and I had an amazing massage experience. They were extremely accommodating and the service was excellent. My masseuse Samira was amazing. She did a great job paying attention to my pain points and providing the ultimate relaxing experience. I highly recommend taking advantage of the spa while staying at Bab Alshams!!

    Very friendly staff, the spa menu is extensive and service was great. Albeit slightly expensive.The gym has plenty of equipment, sufficient to use and all brand new.The spa is very tranquil and peaceful as well - a very relaxing environment.

    Price was 650 per person which they gave 20% discount.Amazing experience and staff were very friendly.Welcomed with a drink (which had amazing taste)1 hour message with very professional staff ., tea+pool+rest after message .Best place to thru away your negative energy and heal your self.Strongly recommended
