I recently visited Sofitel Spa Dubai Downtown and had such a peaceful and rejuvenating experience. I tried the facial done by therapist Lisa -- which were absolutely amazing !! She was attentive to my skins needs and the facial left my skin glowing. The facilities were clean, cozy and well maintained. Defnitely planning to come back soon !!

Just got a massage and facial at the Sofitel spa. I came with very low expectations as I hadn’t heard about this spa and the treatment was gifted to me but I was pleasantly surprised!! The therapist Mary Ann was absolutely amazing! Very kind, knowledgeable and caring. She told me about areas of my body that required more work during the massage and even during my facial, didn’t try to sell any of their products but just offered honest advice!!I’m definitely coming back and will highly recommend Mary Ann 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Wonderful spa and service! I visited the Sofitel Spa in Sofitel Downtown Hotel, it has been awarded as one of the best luxury spas in the region & this title was definitely reflected in the professional massage therapists and staff. I did a Balinese massage & the masseuse, Yuta was Balinese herself, so I knew I was in good hands. She really did an incredible massage focusing on my main concern areas- she used special Balinese techniques to work through my knots. I felt immensely relaxed after the massage. Their steam & spa facilities were clean & modern. After my massage, May was kind enough to offer a luxury private jacuzzi, which further relaxed & rejuvenated me. The entire spa and the service provided by all the staff was top-notch, I had a wonderful rejuvenating spa day. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a luxury, comfortable & high service treatment.

Gorgeous couples massage by Mickey and Yuta. The spa was a bit difficult to find from the car park, but once you’ve parked, just go down to the hotel and it’s on the 5th floor. The spa is very clean and calm, nice music in the treatment room. Had a green and ginger tea after the massage Was a very relaxing time. Thank you again 🙏🏻😌💆🏻‍♀️

Such a great spa experience for ladies day! I highly recommend going for their ladies day because you get the best of all your treatments and my friends enjoyed the Hamam ritual and absolutely loved it! I had a nice rejuvenating body wrap, and my skin felt softer than ever. Finishing the day off with healthy snacks and smoothies, and some pool time was definitely worth it. All four of us had a great time and I was so impressed by how the staff were! Such a beautiful environment and great day

It was an easy breezy process from the schedule booking - Ms. May has been very accommodating, to the strategic location, and the spa experience itself. I am very delighted with the Spa package- I did the SOFITEL Unwind package 60min massage and 30 min scrub. The Spa is neat and has exemplary standard. I did the Steam and Sauna which was very relaxing. I had the best time on the massage. I am very happy during the service. Honey is the best massager. Her hands are magic and she keeps my body calm and relaxed. Honey is very helpful and she gives me best results on what I wanted to feel after the massage. Special thanks to Ms. May has been very kind, accommodating and helpful during the booking process and to the location itself. Thank you Sofitel Spa Downtown!! Came to the spa at Sofitel because the hotel I was staying at didn’t have availability or a reliable schedule at their spa.. and WOW I’m so glad I did… I got a 90 min magnesium deep tissue massage with YUTA and she provided the best massage I’ve ever had in my life and I have been all around the world. Everything from check in to check out was a seamless guest experience and the service/massage itself was truly exceptional. Next time I’m in dubai I will definitely be back!!

They can pin pont where to apply pressure to release tension. The spa facilities are quite standard with a lovely sauna/steam room and pricing is rather reasonable. I was eager to try the Spa after i made a search online abd read that it received an award a few yeats ago (Best Spa in Dubai in 2021). Not only was it beyond my expectations, in all honesty it was the best massage I had in my life! I tried the Hot Stones massage for 90 minutes. The massage was so good I booked another session the following day. It released all the tension built up in my muscles and eased my back pain. The massuer’s hands were like strokes from heaven. And her experience was highly appreciated. I would also recommend the feet massage (reflexology). I cannot wait to come back to Dubai and try them again. This place is absolutely fascinating.

This should be explained in the beginning so I can make full use if the facilities.- There are phones going off all the time in reception and the staff making calls using the speakerphone so it ruins the tranquil atmosphere

Best hotel in downtown with world class hospitality service, direct bridge walk to Dubai Mall / Burj Khalifa. Check in, check out process hassle free and they have travel desk where you can book adventure and tours, safari etc with Rayna destination management. The breakfast buffet is awesome and reasonable, room service for food is alright but you can order Uber eats called Careem as plenty of options in downtown. Will visit definitely. Thank you Sofitel, Accor team for upgrading my room and for your great hospitality, response time has been great!

Alma is brilliant - One of the best massages I have ever had!I was staying in the Sofitel for four nights as a stop-over on the way back to Australia and on my second last day there, I treated myself to an afternoon massage.I have a chronic back injury with spinal nerve damage and have constant sciatic pain - after 6 weeks of traipsing around the UK and Europe the cobblestoned streets were teaching my old body a mean old lesson and of course, I had not been sleeping well on top of it!My Massage Therapist Alma, was incredibly experienced with my type of injury and knew exactly what to do to release the pressure from the nerve at whats called the S1 pressure point - mind you, this isnt pretty for a while but later its a heaven sent relief! she was amazing, I was so thankful to have found Alma.Apart from being able to assist me with pain relief, I also received a wonderful body and head massage and felt the tension knots slipping away.I left feeling relaxed and calm.Thank you Alma for your kindness and patience and for one of the best massage experiences I have ever had!.Sandie, Melbourne, Australia.

Honey expertly scrubbed away layers of dead skin, leaving me feeling refreshed and renewed. The warm water rinses between treatments were soothing, and the entire ritual felt like a cleanse for both the body and the soul.Following the bath, I enjoyed a deep tissue massage that was tailored to my needs. Lisa had an incredible touch – each stroke was perfectly measured to release tension while still keeping me in a state of blissful relaxation. I could feel the stress melt away as they worked through every knot and sore muscle.The spa itself was immaculate, with every detail carefully designed for comfort and tranquility. After my treatments, I was offered delicious herbal tea in a peaceful lounge, which was the perfect way to slowly transition back to reality.I can’t recommend sofitel spa highly enough, especially if you’re looking for an authentic and revitalizing Moroccan bath experience. Sometimes , in the busy times that we live in , one forgets to listen to the subtle signs our body gives us asking us to rest, refresh and rejuvenate. Well, my trigger to book my massage at so spa was an email wishing me happy birthday and a discount code to book for my next massage ( I visit this spa often). I realised that Ive not been to the Sofitel spa for a while now. I went along booking my appointment through WhatsApp. The spa remains top notch with the most calming aura, quiet and hospitable staff but most importantly extremely well qualified and professional masseurs. Over the next 60 minutes, I really understood why I really needed this massage - the cramped muscles clearly warranted expert hands. MaryAnn , was friendly, listening to feedback and meticulously delivered a thoroughly professional and effective massage. By the end I felt aligned , rejuvenated and a general sense of well being . Thank you for making this birthday treat memorable.

5 star to therapist Cham Cham - you can feel that she knows what she is doing, feeling your body’s tension, massaging cm by cm to release it and relax. So Cham Cham is the BEST!Moroccan bath was not bad - their steaming room wasn’t operating, so me and my husband had to wait for each other, although we booked in advance and mentioned that we need to be having treatments at the same time. Temperature in hammam room of the female section was colder than it should be. Weirdly they wash all your blood out, but don’t wash your face, so I had ask for a face wash gel and do it myself before going for massage therapy. They didn’t wash my hair properly, applied poorly shampoo then conditioner, so I had to wash my hair again properly at the shower.Also, in the changing room before going to hammam they provide all what’s needed, but the flip flops that they put nicely in the showbag were not clean (having some stains on them), would be better if they provided disposable ones - not a great point for a 5 start hotel SPA.Overall staff are polite and helpful and I left happy just because the massage was the best, thanks to Cham Cham.

Not all massage therapists get it right but she did.The spa area is small compared to other hotels, but there is steam and sauna and overall I enjoyed my time. There isn’t really a relaxation area except the seating in front of the changing rooms.I recommend trying this spa if you care for the quality of your massage and not too fussed about the amenities.

Highly recommended.My girlfriend was unfortunately unable to use the sauna as it was full (2 person capacity during covid). The sauna change room in general was very small and quite uncomfortably warm to freshen up as the sauna heat spilled so much into the room.Thanks again!
